Seller Hacks: Amazon FBA Revenue & Cost Calculator

The Amazon revenue calculator is a helpful tool for sellers who want to estimate costs for fulfillment of Amazon orders using Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM) or Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA). The calculator takes into account a number of factors, including the product's price, the seller's fees, and the estimated estimated fulfillment fees.

To use the Amazon revenue calculator, sellers simply need to follow the below steps:

  1. Access the calculator here

  2. Input a SKU, title, ISBN, UPC, EAN, or ASIN along with your country of choice

  3. Based upon your input, Amazon will search their database for the item

  4. Select the closest representation of your item

  5. Amazon will then provide two options: 1) Amazon Fulfillment which is the cost of selling the item on Amazon with Amazon fulfilling the item via FBA; 2) Your fulfillment which allows you to input your costs of selling the item on Amazon with you fulfilling the item

  6. To understand the cost of selling the item via your own fulfillment, you will need to know your cost of shipping the product to end customer + any associated storage fees or cost of goods sold

  7. Once you have completed both options you can compare the net proceeds and net profit of the two models

Here are some tips for using the Amazon revenue calculator:

  • Use realistic estimates for any particular costs you estimate

  • Keep in mind that the calculator is just an estimate. The actual revenue may be higher or lower than the estimate.
